Format

Job shadowing is facilitated through three formats, each providing unique experiences for students and employers. These activities are organized with:

  • Classroom preparation, which includes researching the occupation, industry, and participating company.
  • Employer orientation and ongoing support.
  • Opportunities for students to reflect on their experience both verbally and in writing.

Outcomes

Job shadowing immerses students in local businesses or organizations, helping them explore future workplace opportunities. These activities are linked to:
