GCC Board MembersGateway Community Charters, Inc. (GCC) is an independent non-profit 501(c)3 agency that was created to support students, parents, and communities through the conception, development, administration, and governance of innovative, high-quality, standards-based educational opportunities within charter school constructs. In cooperation with our Location Educational Agencies (LEAs), Twin Rivers Unified School District, San Juan Unified School District, Yolo County Office of Education, Sacramento County Office of Education, and Elk Grove Unified School District, the GCC reaches out to the greater Sacramento County community to create schools to serve the educational needs of the underserved, for example; the disenfranchised, culturally diverse, economically disadvantaged, homeless, parenting teens, working young adults, fifth-year seniors, English language learners and others.

VISION Our vision is to provide all students, regardless of circumstance, a safe, caring school choice with high academic and behavioral expectations where they can reach their fullest academic and social potential.

In response to the escalating concerns about public safety and the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Gateway Community Charters will conduct its Board meetings remotely until further notice. Public Comments

Individuals wishing to address the Board on any non-agenda items which are of interest to the public and within the Board’s jurisdiction, such as policies, regulations and procedures; comments on programs, services or operations of the GCC and its schools; or fiscal matters, may do so. The Board may not act upon items presented during Public Comment but may briefly respond to statements made, ask a clarifying question or refer them to staff or other resources. (Gov. Code §54954.2, §54954.3).
