The Professional Learning Team is excited to offer various professional learning sessions tailored to meet diverse needs.

Not seeing what your campus needs? Fill out a PD Session Request Form.
|
|
|
|
|
Admin approval is required for daytime sessions but not for after-school sessions. Certificated staff will be paid the non-instructional rate. Teachers are required to secure a sub for their class.
|
|
|
|
|
Classified staff will be paid their hourly rate if they attend a session after school; admin approval required if exceeding 40 hours in a week or over 8 hours in a day.
|

Get trained in award-winning GLAD strategies & see the strategies modeled in a live classroom. GLAD is a research-based instructional model that supports language development and academic achievement, especially for English Learners (ELs). This training equips educators with strategies to build vocabulary, comprehension, and content knowledge through engaging, collaborative, and scaffolded instruction.
GLAD supports all students, with a focus on multilingual learners, students with diverse learning needs, and those who benefit from structured, visual, and interactive teaching methods.

Science of Reading
Have struggling readers? Become certified in LETRS.
|
|
|
|
LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) is a research-based professional learning series that empowers educators with deep knowledge of the science of reading. This PD equips teachers with practical strategies to support foundational literacy, including phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension—essential for helping all students, especially struggling readers, become proficient.
This is the first session for the Book 1 Series. Book 2 Series, stay tuned!

Join us to explore tools and strategies for creating well-managed classrooms that support students' behavioral, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being. Learn to set the tone with high expectations, positive management practices, and effective routines while understanding behavior to support student growth. Plan for efficient organization, develop clear procedures and routines, and build strong relationships with students and families.
Teachers will be comprensated the non-instructional rate.
