Innovator's Fair 2024
On Saturday May 11, 2024, GCC held it's first Innovator's Fair at the McClellan Aerospace Museum.
Some of the event highlights include:

MathAlive! Interactive Exhibit: Dove into a world where math was brought to life. Imagined engaging in a thrilling snowboard race or maneuvering a Mars rover, all while learning the magic of mathematics.

Journey Through Aviation: Explored an impressive collection of over 35 aircraft at the Aerospace Museum and uncovered the evolution of flight.

Rocket Design Workshop with Square Root Academy: Perfect for aspiring astronauts and engineers, this activity provided hands-on experience in rocket engineering.

Solar bracelets with SMUD: Dived into the world of alternative energy by creating a personalized solar bracelet.

Meet Space Force: Got inspired by the future of space exploration and learned more about careers in space.

Representatives from LEGO Education were on site to lead coding and robotics activities.

A variety of food trucks were on site, offering delicious bites for purchase. Part of the proceeds went back to the GCC Foundation.
- GCC Hiring Fair: We hosted a hiring fair for individuals interested in pursuing a career at GCC. This was an excellent chance to get to know our organization and learn about the many career opportunities we provided.
